My only question is, what is up with the double tom mount system? Did super classics have that or was it added?

I don't recall ever seeing a double-rail system like that offered as "OEM." I suppose it is possible someone special ordered it that way, but my guess would be it was added by a previous owner.

I have a super classic with the exact same setup. I think it was added by the owner.

Same here, mine was very close to 'looking' oem, but wasn't. The drill holes were about 1/8" off was the only clue. I removed the right side mount and had the holes plugged and wrap dots from the bass hoop to match it. Hard to see now unless you look.

Mine came with the extra identical rack tom also.
