charles and billy together were magic! charles and his band were great

too. billy was one of the greatest ever. musicality beyond beyond.

we miss you dearly billy. billy and ed blackwell were two guys

who really took jazz drumming to a different place and although

they were never stars per say they changed alot of the language

and made drumming a musical thing rather than just a rhythmic

thing.
