55WFL - The Shrine To Music Museum (that's what it was called when I was in touch with them) in Vermillion, South Dakota might have some good history on Conn. They did in the 90s when I was researching some American band instrument manufacturing history. They should have some drum stuff. Give them a call. The curator that I spoke to then was very kind and helpful (don't know how it is now though).
