CBS Masterworks - Made in Canada

Loading...

Hi folks, been reading quite a few of the posts from you folks and there seems to be quite a bit of knowledge here.

I have a few vintage cymbals, none that I think are of high quality but I am interested in the history of some of these. I have a 22" Zyn (regular) that doesn't sound half bad (lots of info on these) and then I have quite a few of the CBS Masterworks cymbals.

A set of 14" hi-hats

a 20" ride

an 18" crash/ride'ish cymbal

The CBS Masterwork ones don't seem to have a lot of info on them anywhere. They don't seem to be high quality but perhaps someone who has more knowledge about them can share some history and background on these.

Thanks

Thanks granto. I did read that thread a little while ago. Did you ever find out any more about them.

That thread talks a fair bit about the other "masterworks" the newer guys but I didn't see too much about these CBS ones made in Canada.

Any other info is greatly appreciated.

Cheers
