I myself, for the time being, have concluded that these were made by TOSCO. My evidence - a set of Abex HHs recently on ebay (and also seen here):

Isn't UFIP and TOSCO the only two large cymbal makers in Italy? You know it would have to be a larger outfit just due to the amount of cymbals marked CB-700 and Made In Italy I've seen in this area.
