Carlton drum age

Hi

I wondered if anyone could shed any light on this drum and its age. It's made by Carlton and measures 18" in diameter and the shell is 11" deep (not incl hoops). It appears to have been repainted at some point. I think it's an old marching tenor drum but I'm not sure. It sounds very nice despite one of the heads having a small tear in it. I bought it on a whim as I thought it might make an interesting floor tom or bass drum.

Thanks for your help Ralf. Couldn't see it in those catalogs but I suspect they had a separate catalog for marching stuff. I haven't seen that badge anywhere either. Never mind, it's a cool drum and I'm sure I'll find a use for it. Cheers, Andrew
