Back in the old days, here an article of BATTEUR MAGAZINE #75 from jan. 95.

This is an article on myself and the painted work i do on a CAPELLE-ZAPLANA kit. Capelle where famous in europe for almost 30 years, and the Orange drums where Capelle drums.

Serge Zaplana was a very fine luthier who works a time at Capelle company. A good handworker and man...

I paint this kit (and design it) in nov-dec 94, and this kit where exposed in diff. europeans music exhibitions like Paris or Frankfort.

According to Jacques Capelle, the kit was left to a german distributor after a Frankfort Music mess.
