canadian zildjian's

Loading...

this is my first post. great site!

I have a 20" zildjian made in canada ?med ride? I got with a 70's imperialstar. It has a fairly large bell. Great cymbal. No cracks/keyholing. I'm wondering what these canadian zil's go for as I have a 20' constantinople and I'm wanting to get something else to match it's sound. I'm guessing not much more than $100.

any educated guesses?

I also heard that canadian zildjians were not as good as the usa made ones. Is this true?

Canadian Zildjian cymbals are great cymbals. That's where they did the hand hammering prior to the split and the formation of Sabian. Spit on whoever told you they didn't sound 'as good as' the others. Those are very nice cymbals. Same alloy, great hammering and lathing. Nice cymbals.

Yeah, great cymbals. I've got a set, 14" hats, 16", 18" and a 20".

You could probably get $125 or so.
