All lugs are the same! Six lugs on each! After looking around I found a Star that looked just like it. So it a Star, Hoshino, Tama... OK! Thanks

Very Nice drums! As for Hoshino, there were actually 2 companies back in the day Hoshino Gakki and Nougoyuo. Can I see the end caps on the rail consolette? That could be another clue as to the maker. If there is a rail, that would date the kit to pre-71. In about 70-71, they went to the "pipe", like most hippies did....:)

Those lugs were also used on Crown drums 9ply shells..also many other drums made in japan.....Your set looks like 9 ply shells i would say your set could be made by Pearl late 60s-to the mid 70s...Mikey

I think your drums may have been made by Hoshino. Go to this thread and compare your lugs, cymbal mount, and floor tom leg mounts to the pics of the Winston drums:

http://www.vintagedrumforum.com/showthread.php?t=13005

I have a feeling they are the same. Is the bass drum 6 or 8 lugs? Also, what are the BD hoops made out of? wood, metal, or plastic?

These are great looking drums, by the way. Good luck getting them up and playing, and please post some more pics of the rest of the set when you can.
