Saw these on C-list. Not sure if these are the sought after Oaklwn's or what. Not familiar with the Camco timeline.
Any info would help, I may go look at them at least.
Thanks,

Thanks,
Look like the real deal except for the FT legs and their mounts; the tom mount; the cymbal mount on the BD. Missing the original BD spurs and those may or may not be the original BD hoops. Might be a re-wrap...
FYI
That seems pretty far from the "real deal" then.
Probably not worth half of that?
Tell me where you're going to find a set of LA Camco's for $700. I'll buy three kits at that price right now!
(If) it's rewrap you can knock $300 or so off the price. But not much more than that. That kit with the 24" is worth the money.
John
Is that a wrap or a painted/stained finish? I like the sizes and the 24" bass......boom!

I think i read somewhere that with camco drums, if they were wrapped they were painted white on the inside and clear interiors with painted or stained outsides. Mine are wrapped with white paint inside.

All the L.A. Era drums had clear interiors regardless of the exterior finish.
I believe it was only the Oaklawns and Chanute eras that followed that rule. Rather loosely as well since there has been a few examples of wrapped kits that came from the factory with clear interiors, maybe special ordered?
I think considering the unfortunate modifications he has these priced to high. They've been listed for a quite a while. It looks like a repaint to me. A very nice players kit. In it's present shape 1000-1200 is much more realistic. Finding spurs won't be that hard - early 70's thin ludwig arc spurs often fit just right in these Camco mounts.

Cool, thanks for the correction. Dont want to mislead anyone.
