Hello everyone. About five years ago my wife bought me a second-hand kit. It was in a pretty rough condition and I think it had been stored in someone's loft for ages. We cleaned it re-headed it etc etc and it's given me sterling service ever since.
Thing is, it was sold as a Tama, which it almost certainly is not.
It's reasonably light for it's size, nowhere near as heavy as my modern Premier Maple Artist, and it's huge. I'd guess from the hanging tom depth it's late seventies or early eighties, they are ludicrously deep. The sizes are 24 x 16 bass, 13, 14, 16 and 18 toms. It has a deep warm tone, and the insides have been coated with a slate grey material that is slightly rough to the touch.
Can anyone help?
