I scored these two drums almost two years ago and have tried my best to identify them on my own with no luck. I've been a fan of stencil kits for a very long time and have yet to come across this specific wrap. Any ideas?
Can Anyone Identify These Drums?
Hello WindyCityDrummer
My best guess is the bass drum looks like a Hoshino made stencil
the lugs on the mounted tom may have been switched out
as they do not appear to match and look like either Star or Pearl
I was once told what color that wrap was but I forget now
what exactly I was told
I think it is something like black tiger sparkle ???
But again I may be way off in left field on this
I had a Hoshino made snare in that color
It had a thin foil oval shaped badge that read "marquis"
Thanks, Kenwood! I definitely appreciate the help.
My pleasure WindyCityDrummer
One question, does the tom, mount up to the bass drum?
I see the adjustment screw is missing from the bracket on the tom
But that aside, does the hardware coming up off the bass drum
mate up with the bracket on the tom?
Kenwood, I love the pics of your collection.
Stencil= so many great colors.
thanks
Thanks to Mr. Jerry Jenkins
Hello green glass drum
Thanks very kindly for that
I sure do enjoy finding the drums and cleaning them up
sharing the pictures here on the forum
with other folks who also like these little Japanese kits
is one of the best parts of collecting them.
