Can Anyone Identify These Drums?

Loading...

This clip is from 1959 or 1960...there is a crazy extended drum solo half way thru...I can't figure out the lugs on these. I do know this band is from Indonesia and, sadly, never got their due.

A+ for showmanship, though. They just kick ass, years ahead of their time with the guitar antics.

Any guesses?

Hello!

Wow, what a coooool video!The BandClapping Happy2

The drums appear to be old Premiers, as far as I could recognize on the lugs & badge shape.

that is awesome. Great drummer too. not offen you see the drummer go AROUND the kit in a solo. They look like Premier drums to my untrained eye.

I'll have some of what they're having... Yeah, probably Marty McFly syndrome - public not quite ready for it, or else; how do you follow that one? I vote Premiers.

I as well say Premier, and I am least trained of all on anything other than you know what...great gig though, a little Elvis-ness going on!

I also think this is Premier - it seems to me that is "Continental-56" set from 1961.

Yes, they look like Premiers to me also. The band is The Tielman Brothers.
