Camco LA Walnut

Loading...

what I don't understand is why there are certain camco,s that have the bottom of the rerings feathered out so nice and the others cut flat, strait at the edge. on the inner side of the rerings. I have had 3 oaklawn kits. my first new in 1966. and now actually 2 more oaklawn time lines with beautiful shaped rerings and edges. sanded so smooth like a work of art. a lot of the ones I see up on ebay and on wherever, have strait cut bottoms on the rerings. all different time lines. the clear coated and white painted shells. I have never remembered ever having any numbers on my kits. all 3 of them. this is just an observation about what I have noticed on my 3 kits. all of them are wrapped in drum wrap.

The numbering was an LA badge only thing.

I'm not sure what you mean about the re-ring finishing....I'll need to go back and check out mine.

Stedi, time for a new thread. Don't think it will take use anywhere new but its always nice to go for a ride.
