5. The internal damper on the floor tom isn't a Camco one (again, doesn't mean it didn't originally come with this drum though). Can't see the one on the rack clearly enough.

Hi, To me that muffler on the floor tom looks right. If you look you can see the cord[wire] on the under side of the muffler--All of the camco drums i have have that muffler. One thing i see in the first photo of the whole set is to the right side inside bass drum it looks like someone had a spur mounted wrong or something..mikey

Yeah, I think I spoke too soon. Looked Ludwig-y on first inspection but now it's been pointed out, I can see it's worm-drive thingy. Sorry about that.

Man,

love those camco (and now DW) lugs, they are really great. My knowledge of Camco is < 0

what I will say is after looking at the closer pics I thought that kit must originally be a wrap. the wood just doesnt look like it was ment as a veneer.

silver sparkle wrap

awesome...

Probably getting a little ahead of ourselves here but should you (a) get them and (b) decide to do a re-wrap, consider a 3D Moire - unique to Camco (I think), equal parts tasteless butt-ugliness combined with retro glitz and glamour and there's a more than reasonable facsimile which you can get for around $15 a yard from Canal Plastics in NYC.

Silver sparkle is great as well - and pretty much the only modern wrap that closely resembles the original.

Wow! I had a kit just like that! 20,12,14 Oaklawn. Bought 'em new. Have an 18,12,14 in green sparkle re-wrap now.
