Hi Klusk - Welcome to the forums.

I bought an NOS (New/Old Stock) Oaklawn Camco floor tom shell last year and I went through the same drill you're going through now. There are a couple of Camco collectors that are members here that 'may' be able to help you with a couple of parts, but your best bet is to watch ebay like a hawk. Your parts -will- come up for sale. It just takes patience and daily checking of the category.

When you go to ebay, just punch in; Camco/MusicalInstruments/Percussion and save it to your 'saved searches.' You can go back once or twice a day and do quick checks to see if anything new has been added to the Camco offerings.

Very best of luck completing your drum. Let me tell you now, it's going to be expensive. But man, is it ever worth it in the end.

Thanks John! check my other threads, I have a pic of my '68 Oaklawn (mostly) silver sparkle kit. I absolutely LOVE it. Getting there, I got the lugs and the wrap. Coming along.

Also got the tension rods. Some rims, legs and leg mounts and I'm in business. Figure the badge and muffler last. I actually have some modern 8-lug rims that I can use so I can at least use the drum before I get the period correct rims.

Well, the 14 came along nicely, with some help from of you, a million thanks!... I got the new wrap, lugs, tension rods, legs and brackets. I used some modern rims, and viola, it's alive and well with big brother 16 next to it. Got a muffler on the way, and the only things I need now are an Oaklawn badge and period correct rims.

That's a beautiful set of drums. I have a 1-up, 2-down Oaklawn set-up and I love it. Camco's are the best sounding and most responsive drums I have ever played. Enjoy your kit for many years to come!

Your Camco set brought back memories of the Oaklawn set that I ordered from the factory in 1964. I lived about ten miles away from Oak Lawn , Illinois which is a Chicago suburb. My Camco drum set had a 14x22 bass drum, two 9x13 toms, a 16x16 floor tom, a 14x14 floor tom, matching snare drum. They were Blue Sparkle (glass glitter?).
