The only real comparison that I have is a 5" LA Badge in AC blue. I was curious how the Oaklawn beds looked like.
The plan is to do a 6,5" 16 lugger. A couple of weeks ago I picked up a cheap MIJ floor tom that was re-drilled and had 16 turret lugs mounted.
Ryan, quite impressing how you managed to save those ply re-rings. I hope it can be done the same way on this shell.
I truly hope that once finished, the sound will be OK but knowing the person that will do the work on this shell, I have no doubt about that.
