Hello,
I recently picked up a used NE (tuneable with regular heads) RIMS Headset. I think these are very cool! All of the heads are in dire need of replacement, and I took one of the toms apart and I am a little confused on how to put it back together. Does anyone have an instruction manual or any tips or advice that they wouldn't mind sharing?

I saw that manual on ebay. I think it is for the 1st Generation pre-tuned kit, but I have asked the ebay seller just to make sure.
I have also emailed Gary Gauger at Gauger Percussion.
Here is mine , i have not used them in years . This is a fun kit to play . You still can get new head's for them , and attaching the heads to the mounts very easy just as long as the rubber mount's are not dried out , or rock hard .
I'm thinking of trading this kit for a snare since i dont use them any more.
and one more cool thing that you can do with this kit , is to add E triggers to them and a Quality brain , now you have a supper kit .

It looks like the 1st generation with pre-tuned Remo PTS heads (I have the 2nd generation tuneable model that takes standard drum heads).
I can't wait to get mine up and running. Of course I'll take some photos when I do.
