Well, here is another link to some very inexpensive calfskin heads. Not all pretty, perfect white, but the low cost could well make up for that.

It seems they are just going crazy. For those that do not know, there is a requirement for flesh hoops and tucking the skin while wet...

I bought skins from them for restoration of my vintage marching snare. This was my first time tucking calfskin heads, so I can't comment on the quality versus other sellers. The thickness of these raw heads seemed uniform. However, you can see that the color was bleached out on over half of the head. I have no idea if this is standard, but it looks fine on my old drum. Shipping was quick.
