Cool video. The guy was really packed with energy even at 62. Interesting to think that only Doc Severinsen (88) remains with us out of the major faces in those scenes. Carson back around 2005, McMahon in '09 and Ed Shaughnessy left in '13. All stars in their own right.

It's really surprising to hear that Buddy didn't have drums at home. I think I've seen pictures of Carson having a set at home and that may have been what surprised him about Buddy. But for Carson it eventually was probably relaxation after doing his TV and nightclub acts.
