Well the build is finally finished. Starting with a vintage 1/4" 4-ply maple-poplar-mahogany-maple shell (without rings),I then added the best correct hardware I could find. 16 mint lugs, correct stamped butt plate, notched zoomatic (nicely machined),repro "stick chopper" rims, and a correct late 70' badge (serial # 21934 ). Finished in vintage WMP with a clear bare maple interior. The only minor issues are the chrome on the zoom knob is slightly wavy ,and the body has a couple minor pits. Also, the badge and 1/2 grommet are epoxied on as I couldn't find the new grommets I have. It's a fantastic playing, articulate drum, however, since starting the build I was able to purchase a factory 4.5" version, and I just don't need two. With well over $500 in parts alone,I'm asking $350 for the drum. Sorry for the crappy picture quality, need to get a new phone (or camera).Feel free to call or text with any questions. Thanks,Dave Walters 815-557-6552
