Brand NIB Acrolite Last viewed: 1 hour ago

Hey everyone, first time post. Glad to be here!

I need your opinion. A guy here in Minnesota has not one, but two BRAND NEW, never played acrolites with the original stands that he bought at an estate sale from a guy that was a music teacher at a high school. They are still in the original boxes with all the packaging. All inspection tags, plastic wrap, drum key and even the Ludwig sticks. These babies have never had one stroke on them.

He wants $200 each and he is firm on the price.

I've searched all over the internet I have never seen a brand new acrolite this old.

The serial #'s are 2140526 and 2227163 which dates them around '80-'81 in guessing.

I'm going to see him tomorrow morning and I'm grabbing one for sure. Do you think I should grab both of them?

Does the price seems fair?

Here is a link for one of them.

Thanks for your help

Do you know if the boxes have any Ludwig logo on them, or do they look cool? I'd get them both but offer $350. Flash the cash and I doubt he'll turn it down. PM me I may want one from you, but only if they box is retro :)

Here is the big score! They're just like you would imagine, in perfect mint condition. He also tossed in an old Ludwig wood block and 3 sets of original unused Ludwig 2B sticks. The first set of pics is the drum and stand I'm going to keep and the rest are of the other snare and stand that has never been out of the plastic and the stand box has never been opened. Does anyone know what the B.F. stands for on the snare box?
