couldn't find the introduction forum so I figured I would put this here

my name is Anthony

I have been collecting vintage drums for just over 10 years

in recent years I have become obsessed with anything and everything that is 60s Gretsch

drums, and vintage drums in particular are my love and lifes passion

hopefully I will learn lot from all the great people here

Welcome to the forum! If you have been singularly focused on 60's Gretsch drums for ten years, my assumption is you might have something to teach us! I, for one, would love to see some photos of what you have been collecting. You will notice that there is a penchant for photos around here. We all love seeing drums, old, new, great, not so great; basically if it is round (or egg shaped like a Trixon, or even shaped like punctuation as we recently saw posted) and has a batter head on it, we want to see it!

The guys here are extremely helpful and there is a wide knowledge base here. It's pretty addicting.

Hey Anthony.I think you're going to like it hear.Lots of great people and information,and a little slower pace than that other place.The crowd is a bit more mature,so there won't as many....URGENT,I need new cymbals for combat death metal...please help!!! I'm 15 and going on tour tomorrow,and need to be endorsed!!!!! kind of threads.

here is my latest baby that I am in the process of getting a matching snare and 60s era Gretsch flat base cymbal stand and hi hat stand for

1966 champagne sparkle round badge

all original but the cymbal L arm

came with the original Gretsch Floating Action bass drum pedal that is also gorgeous

I have leads for everything I need .....just working on getting the $$$$
