BR snare drum

I just got a typical chrome made in china snare drum. The thing is it has the Buddy Rich shield logo on it.It also came with a travel case with the shield logo embroidered on it. The case is more impressive than the drum. I cant find any info on this thing anywhere has anybody ever heard of this thing?

Back around 2007, Cathy Rich and her family tried to market a Chinese-built set of Buddy Rich brand drums, a clear attempt to make money on her father's name. The drums were reminiscent of Buddy's old WMP Slingerland sets, specifically the vintage set he used at the end of his life. I had a chance to inspect them at the NAMM show in January 2007, and found them severely lacking in quality, as might be expected. They were a flop on the market, because anyone with any knowledge of drums could see they were not high quality instruments.

I'm sorry to tell you all this, but I thought it best to be honest about what those drums were all about. Because there were so few BR drums made, you might have a future collectible on your hands.

Other mans trash !!’

April 2nd 1969 scarfed pink champagne holly wood and 65/66 downbeat snare, and , supra same year very minty kit old pies
66/67 downbeat with canister
Super 400 small round knob
1967 super classic obp

once the brass ceases to glitter, and the drum looses its luster, and the stage remains dark, all you have left is the timbre of family.
