My snare just says Bollero on the badge but I'm almost sure it is a stencil kit. The hardware is different then my Stewart kit, which is Star, which then would lead me to believe that this is a Pearl stencil. I could be wrong though.

jonnistix: Wait a minute here guys...I hope this is not a misunderstanding. Ralf, I am not trying to say this is wrong, but I am almost certain this is not a Star brand, Bollero set name. In other words, this is a stencil kit, and they do indeed have their own badge. The Star "Bollero" is the name of a set, a complete set, sort of like what we call the Slingerland "Buddy Rich". If I am not mistaken, there is a stencil name, brand name, if you will, not the Star named kit. Please don't get confused on this, a Star kit named "Bollero" would not have a badge of it's own. It would only have the Star badges. A Bollero badge would be a "brand", like Apollo, or Stewart, maybe they are made by Star, but this is not the case on this kit, as they will not have a Star badge. The badge clearly reads "Bollero" not Star.

Yes - you are right. My conclusion was wrong!

Ralf
