To the people who say that a tom mounted on the bass drum to the drummer's left of center being hard to reach, look closely to the red drum set in this thread. Why aren't you sounding off about this? My opinion on wanting my mounted toms on the bass drum is my opinion for my own use. Your choice of placement and method of mounting those toms is your choice irrespective of what other people say.

Tough to see what is going on with the slingerland kit...Any pictures of that?
Here ya go... the main kit is 1963, 13/16/22. 1970s vintage Zildjians. The 12" tom is an orphan from a 1960 kit, and I've since sold it. Hardware is mostly DW, and the snare is a 6.5x14 DW Performance snare.
