Blaemires on Ebay Last viewed: 3 hours ago

There's a killer rock-size Blaemire kit on ebay right now. The sizes are 13x9 and 14x10 hanging toms. 18x16 and 20x18 floor toms, with a 24x15 bass drum. I've never seen a 20" Blaemire floor tom. All the drums, except the bass drum, are concert toms, with the floors having legs. They are wrapped in BDP. I've been messaging with the seller, and he told me he bought them in 1989, from a Pro in Branson, MO. He bought them in the 60's/70's from a Pro in Los Angeles, so I'm sure they were built in So Cal. This is one badass rock kit!

I saw these on the Bay too.

Yes the 20x18 FT is rare.

But only because it is configured as a FT.

Al did make a few 20" Bass Drums.

I have a 16X20 that I use all the time.

Wow a Blaemire 20" FT.

That would be cool.........and deep.

These look like the earlier amber colored shells.

I will have to pass this time.

If I bought this kit, I wouldn't even bother unwrapping them, just play these beastly things!

I also have a 20" bass drum Scott. It's 12" deep, and I use it all the time.

You know what "is" rare about that 20 FT?

It is the depth. 18" long.

I do not remember any shell being more than 16" in depth.

Greg? How about you?

Ever come across any shells longer than 16"?

Well, there is the 22x24 deep bass drum on Dennis Wilson's kit! ;-)

24X22 Huh?

Maybe we should just cut that one in half so we can fit one Bass Drum in the van.

And use the other half for rehearsals.

Man that was deep.

OK so now 24" is the longest shell on record.

Thanks Greg
