Blaemire 7.4x13 Snare

Loading...

Shell from the "Jinx". Thanks jinks.

Tom shell cut down on table saw.

All predrilled holes (not good again) re-squared and straightened.

Drill, dremel and mostly file to elongate holes onto the grid.

2 holes filled with monomer resin.

6 lug with S-hoops. Bottom hoop (13) drilled for strings.

The S-hoops work great. Tuned up like a 10 lug 14.

42 strand wires with wide/deep snare beds.

Great sound.

Thanks again Jerry for all the tips.

Awesome snare! After seeing the row of concert toms I would love to have a set of those drums myself. I never knew anything about these drums. I always thought they were Ludwig concert toms when I saw them. Quite a rich and interesting history!

John your day will come buddy, your day will come!! Excited

Glenn.

Not a guru just havin fun with some old dusty drums.
