So is it Leedy or Slingerland?

Slingerland owned leedy at the time of this kit, it's slingerland shells, with leedy hardware, so it's really a slingerland!

Or is it really a Leedy since that's what the badge would sayLoLoLoLo

I'm kidding with the shells being Slingerland I would surely say they are Slings

58 - Slingerland Duco
58 - Slingerland Krupa Deluxe

And some others..

so it looks to be a slingerland kit with leedy hoops, etc. so where does a slingerland kit rank on vintage kit lists? worth hanging on to? i realize some stuff isnt original, so that decreases its resale value.

Well Slingerland stuff is my favorite so it ranks number 1 on my list haha. I would say its definitely worth hanging onto, those shells sounds awesome. Oh and someone correct me if I'm wrong, besides the bass drum spurs and the floor tom legs that hardware is probably all original?

There's one in the Drum Guide for 1964

Link................

It's the only 18 inch shell in that catalog, so that was what brought up the idea.

Did find a 14x18 in the 1960 Leedy catalog though, but not in the 1965.... must have used them all up for "Jets" in '64 maybe ?? .....

Here is a marcher, that has the badge your drum did and should have, the drums you have are leedy, made and owned by slingerland, the shells are slingerland, but the lugs and the bass drum tension rods and the bass drum claws are leedy! this is on ebay! http://cgi.ebay.com/Vintage-Leedy-Snare-Marching-Drum-14-x-9-1-2-Red-Gold-/360266121582?cmd=ViewItem&pt=Vintgae_Drums_Percussion&hash=item53e188c16e
