Many thanks to John "Purdie Shuffle" for allowing me to be next in line for these beauties. I found another bass drum in a local college music dept so fixed up & paired up. It's been a long time since I played double bass but man it is FUN! This is the kit I'm looking for the 14x14 FT for.

A blue note wanna be!!

April 2nd 1969 scarfed pink champagne holly wood and 65/66 downbeat snare, and , supra same year very minty kit old pies
66/67 downbeat with canister
Super 400 small round knob
1967 super classic obp

once the brass ceases to glitter, and the drum looses its luster, and the stage remains dark, all you have left is the timbre of family.

Looks great. Interesting too that the upper mounting location of the tom on the left bass drum (looking from in front of the set-up) works really nicely for the double bass arrangement and the other one for a ride cymbal.

The duco snare is a Gretsch Renown from 63. My mother in law found in a thrift store in Great Falls MT for 17.00 & mailed it to me. :-)
