It is so good, so refreshing to see a band today writing and playing classic rock. We need more good solid old timey rock-n-roll. This new rock just don't do it for me at all. Very little new stuff even really sounds like rock to me, even if they call it that. I just love the old classic style of rock-n-roll better than anything you can bring.

They have been designated as the best live band in Norway. Since 2007 (if I'm not mistaken) they moved to the US in California and are playing club gigs all around Texas. I tend to believe they could use some better managment and marketing strategy because in Norway they were playing these huge shows and now they are doing small venues in the US.

Here is their newest single:

Now look, with all the people we have here, someone has to know the big time managers. Can we get Bun invovled with these guys? Let's look at this from a pure musicians point of view. These guys are good, they are writing original music and there is no real classic rock, new stuff coming out and this is the bomb. I would think they could benefit from some anonymous help from people who know classic rock, you think?

I like the sound from these guys. The sad fact is, the U.S. music industry does not work like that. There are LOTS of great musicians out there working as waiters, lawyers, police officers, fry cooks, rocket scientists (no joke - I know one), computer techs, doctors, etc etc etc.

If it was just a matter of talent, we would have a very different sound emitting from our radios - the cretins couldn't make good music if their lives depended on it. Absolute tripe and rubbish.

jonnistix - exactly what I was thinking. Here is their myspace: www.myspace.com/smallbang (ironic, isn't it?) check out the tour dates listed there, all in Norway. Now here is a piece from one of their US shows: [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RJhzZ6hkzsA&feature=related[/ame]

Looks like its time for me to plan a road trip Car Driving2 . I'd drive to texas to see these true rockers, cant say that about any band nowdays. unless i time traveled to 68-72 and i'd swim across the ocean to see Deep Purple or Led Zep band3
