Hey Mikey, in case you read this post, I am looking for one of the guard pieces that goes around the lower part of the strainer...pictured below, the piece attaches to a tension rod on each side of the strainer and goes over knob just below the "S" on the strainer.

And, yes the closeup shows what looks like lots of scratches...I'm hoping many of them aren't and will go away with detailing..... :)
