Here are some pics. It is taking really long to load these pics because I am also loading up a video showing the shell of this drum. Speaking of which, I think both of these Steel rims are a bit out of round. Then again, it could be the shell. It does not have a significant effect on the sound though as far as I can tell - as OOR is acceptable within a certain spec. The drum sounds very good how I have it tuned right now.

The bottom head has a half inch rip/cut in it - located under the wires at the end (see pic).

The wires are not Dynasonic wires, and are regular slotted (where it mounts) and surprisingly it works quite well. These will get you buy until you by the real deal Dyna wires. Meanwhile, the wires tension adjustment knob has been replaced by a screw. Some pitting on the butt end, a couple spots of rust on the rim(s) - but not very much at all.

So, it needs some parts, but it functional and very cleaned up. This drum is a great players drum.

Regarding the shell - here is a video showing the shell, which is brass. http://youtu.be/5EMrDc1vcCU

Considering that it needs the right wires, the correct knob, and is not perfectly round (an issue for some), may need heads soon......I am reducing the price to $170 plus shipping. I see that this could fetch more than 200 on the bay, so it's fair, plus I would like it to move on out of here.

This drum has no serial number. I believe it dates it to about 1983 (please correct me here if I am wrong on any of this).

get a shipping quote and close the deal before you pay for it. There is a possibility that this will see the bay, though I hope not. If it does (and indeed here and DFO) I will honor first contact (first come first serve) as much as possible, but will only 'hold' it for 48 hours before I will offer it to the next person - and then it will boil down to first with the cash.....

Please, no international - unless you want to pay $15 extra for the additional hassle.

No 'gifting' - and I will absorb the PP fee if you pay this 170 plus shipping.

PM me or even email me

Thanks,

John

Oh, come on! Nobody here could use a Dynasonic? This is a great drum at a great price. If I didn't have three already, I'd pick this up in a second. Heck, the snare frame alone is worth almost $100 by itself!

It is a fair price for a restorable parts drum with the snare frame. I have 12 Dynas here. Love them all.

I'd love to buy it, I just can't afford it at the moment (yes, even at that amazing price)! Been dying for a Dyna. Maybe in a bit... I would gladly give it a home if I could! I'll let you know if it isn't gone by then.

I have decided that the OOR shell (and or) steel rims are driving this price down too low.......

so I have decided to part it out. I will be posting pricing on here soon of the parts - will hopefully save you some money and make me more than this. WIN WIN
