This is for sale over here. Too far away for me and a seller unwilling to ship, so it won't be mine. But, those lugs are sensational, as are the T-rods. It's a 26" and i'm guessing 60s.
On another Beverley thread of mine i speculate about whether Beverley were the first to design the imperial snare lug. This further demonstrates their flare for lug design IMO
lovely. double mufflers too. seems like a marching drum but with the double mufflers, I would say a small orchestral drum too. the badge style suggests late 40's , perhaps early 50's but the drum style suggests 30's.
can't see this as a 60's drum. almost all of the drums from that era were made up from Premier parts and the unique Beverley lugs that Premier molded ,were still Premieresque.

Beverley,... heavily underrated IMO.
Those BD lugs are indeed spectacular.
I picked up this 1960's snare a couple of months ago. (UK's answer to Ludwig's LM400).

Stedi - that's the Beverley 21? I have the Premier 35 with the Beverley lugs. You're right, they are a really good drum and a match for the Ludwig.
green glass drum - The cable would originally attach to a foot pedal and turns the bottom snare wires on and off (also has a separate hand lever too). Sadly the foot pedal has gone but everything else is there and works. From what i can tell Ludwig introduced the imperial lug in 1936 and the Bev is 1930s. Who came first i have not been able to determine.

Leedy had a small "half moon" BD lug VERY similar to this in the 30's -40's also.Can anyone do a pic of one of those?
It even had the 3 Art Deco Streamline "Speed Lines" <(as they called them) on each side...
