I couldn't really afford any more stuff at the moment, but I couldn't help myself when I saw it Jump For Joy

I just got it today. Apart from a few small superficial scratches, it looks perfect! Can't wait to make her sing again - I've heard a lot about these babies (the British answer to Supras etc)... Will post pics when it's cleaned.

Is that a chrome over brass shell?

I recently sold my Premier 35 which is essentially the same drum. It was a perfect match for a Premier soundwave kit I sold to a friend so I let him have the snare as well. I'm missing it now. It was remarkably similar to the Supra but I found myself using it a lot. In fact it is the main snare on an album my band is about to release. I'd love to get a Beverley version one day. Nice score

Drumaholic - it will be chrome over aluminium.

Wow ! great score. I am looking for one to go with the Beverley kit I acquired early this year. Beverley are great drums. A lot of Americans are not even aware of the quality and sound of these drums. Joe Cox in England has one he is restoring and offered me but getting it here is expensive. I just got a Premier 6000 double tom stand for my toms yesterday as I don't like mounting them on a 24" bass drum. Can use it with my Resonator toms too. Let us know when you get that snare and all tuned up. Some pics.

Here are my Beverley's.

I have one too. A ten-lugger. Really nice drum. Sounds all nice and open with a coated ambassador on it, but not too ringy because of the aluminium. I won't ever sell it.

I had an 8-lug version with the seamless aluminum shell. Great drum and yes, it sounds like the Ludwigs. Mine was with a US market Premier 6000, which was just Beverley rebadged as Premier for the US.
