Beverley Blue Badge Custom/Marching

Kit made of Beverley marching drum orphans. I spray painted the original hoops of the base-drum dark metallic brown. I (home-)made matching wooden hoops for the toms too, to articulate the marching-drum character.

Sizes: 10x26, 10x14, 12x16.

Shells: 3-ply birch with beech re-rings.

Finish: Base and floor are WMP ripple, tom-tom is plain crème white (still looking for matching, yellowed that is, WMP ripple wrap or complete matching 12, 13 or 14 inch tom in yellowed WMP ripple)

Heads: toms have coated ambassadors batter and reso, base has coated powerstroke batter and ludwig ensemble heavy coated.

Sound: Big, punchy and fat!

Snare, by the way, is a COB Royal 14 x 6. A very high quality Dutch drum made in 60's or 70's.

I'm not usually a fan of white drums, but that kit is so freaking cool it cancels out my white-drum-O-phobia. Sweet kit! :D

John

Too many great drums to list here!
