Beverley 21

Loading...

I have a Beverley 21 Snare Drum,I got at a car boot sale for £17.

I've cleaned it to a high standard but still has some pitting

It still sounds very good, I'm thinking of using it with my own kit, but because of the pitting i'm thinking of spray painting it, is this a good idea.

I used to have the same snare and its a real contender for the Supra 400. Ive read that it was designed after the american drum. Man, they did and incredible job! If I were you I wouldnt paint it, The more original the drum the better. The sound its going to be there and the pitting even if bad it adds character to this excellent sounding drum. just my IMHO
