BEst source to match 1966 Ludwig WMP

Loading...

I am restoring my Dad's 1966 Ludwig Super Classic white marine pearl set.

I want to leave the original wrap in place as it is his patina from all

his gigs on the road. However, there are a few places that I will fill

cracks (making a mixture of the crushed laminate and glue) and also one

spot that I need to patch in some wrap.

I'd appreciate folks input on what laminate will match the yellowed WMP and the best place to get a relatively small piece for this project.

Thanks...

I recently re-rimmed my 1965 WMP 20" Bass Drum. Precision Drum sent me inlays that matched almost perfectly. Although, I was inclined to pick something different, they recommended, correctly, the Antique White as a better match for my aged finish. I recommend calling them directly instead of ordering from the website. www.precisiondrum.com. 845-635-9820
