What are the best (most appropriate, accurate, proper, etc.) replacement snares for this WFL Classic?

I've got a blue sparkle one that I put those ... ummm ... fanchy schmancy snares on. What they heck are they called? PURESOUND!!! Don't you hate it when your mind goes ... ummm ... blank.
Anyway, the Puresound snares work fine. They are built for this snare mech and as such fit very nicely. I like 'em ok. It's the snare mech I don't like. Ludwig-Dude correctly pointed out that this mech is very temperamental.
