Best Polish for Vintage Ludwig Sparkle Wrap

Loading...

What's the best polish to use on a '60s Ludwig silver sparkle wrap? It's as clean as it's going to get, now I'd like to shine it up before I put the hardware back on.

Currently playing for loud rock and roll gigs:
1982 Ludwig Classic in white Cortex, 24-13-14-18 + Coliseum snare
For quieter gigs:
Early '70s Whitehall Tiger Eye Pearl 20-12-14-14
Neglected but thinking about:
Early '70s Sonor Champions in Rosewood, 22-12-13-16

I've always used a good quality car polish (Mother's or Maguire's) on my 1963 Gold Sparkle and it still looks great. I recently cleaned up a 1961 Ludwig Pioneer WMP using Mother's Show Car Glaze and it came out just brilliant.

Novus....is the only thing I use

Its better to have people think you're an idiot, than to open your mouth and prove them wrong, unless you doubt yourself then speak away....

Thanks. I need to check and see if I can find the Novus 1-2-3 locally (Lowe's didn't have it; will check some mom-and-pop hardware stores). I can see the light at the end of the tunnel and don't believe I have the patience to wait for it if I have to order online.

I like the Mequire's Cleaner Wax. Kind of unique to have a wax that cleans too. It usually gets grime off that I thought was there to stay.

I saw it at The Container Store, also check any motorsport dealers.

Good Luck
