She's the one that go me started on all this drum stuff. I had 2 drum kits in the closet in one of the back bedrooms. A 68 Skyblue pearl hollywood Luddy kit, and a 60's sonor teardrop kit. She suggested I set one up in the living room. I drug out the sonors. 20-12-14. Started researching for a floor tom and ended up here at the forum. I had a old 20" slingy floor tom out in my barn too. 1st I restored the floor tom, then I found my matching sonor floor tom and restored the sonors. I have been hooked on vintage drums ever since. Now I have 16 drum kits, 11 congas, 6 djemes, 4 sets of bongos, 2 orphan floor toms and a pile of cymbals, and 45 snare drums. Not to mention 22 Guitars and various amps and a PA.

There was a comedian who was talking about NASCAR, about how the cars are all the same, just with different paint jobs and how they just go around and around and around... Said if he wanted to watch identical brightly-colored objects go 'round in circles, he could just flush a bag of Skittles down the toilet.
I also seem to recall a commercial from Garmin, with the GPS voice in a race car repeating, "Turn left. Turn left. Turn left. Turn left."
