Trying to coax the best sound out of an old Beverley six lug snare, most likely birch, 6 x 14. Have new Evans heads for it and a 16 strand set of German wires. Thinking the best hoop would be advantageous. I really haven't good knowledge of the different triple flange hoops. Help me out.
