Anyone have any information on Beltona of London drums ? The rest of the internet has zero. Saw a brass snare for sale that seller says dates 1890 to 1910. Looks possibly like a military snare. Image is of a same type drum stolen from an art auction site on the internet. Thanks.

I found a few links to Beltone of London upright pianos for sale in the UK & someone mentioned the name on a bass forum. Mark Knopfler plays a Beltona Electro-resonator guitar & I found a pic of a Beltona Koru Resonator Mandolin, but this ended up being a false lead once I discovered that the Beltone that specializes in ukeles started up in the 1990's .Every other link seems to pertain to Beltona records, a Scottish music division of London Records.

Beltona probably refer's to a music store or trade name.
I have the same drum in the OP branded as "Kitchens of Leeds"!
I used to remember who made those drums!! Maybe "Hawkes and Sons" or "Potter's"?!?!

That's what I'm starting to think too. I saw a picture of a Hawkes and Son drum and it looked like it had the same construction and tuning buttons so I think you are correct. Is the 1890-1910 era correct for your "Kitchens of Leeds" drum too ?

I believe so. It is incredibly well made. Really heavy brass! Missing a wing nut! It is packed away with all my other vintage drums. Trying to renovate a room to put them in. When I unpack it I will put a pic up!
