Before/After: Holes in shell

Just a Slingerland Resortation update: All holes in shell have finally been filled. I've attached some before and after pics of a few nasty holes from some Rogers swivo legs that I removed and replaced with Slingerland legs. Holes were filled with Birch and poplar dowels. Next up - patching holes in the wrap with some WMP I got from Mcjnic - thanks!

Pic 1: the Rogers legs that came on my slingy bass drum

Pic 2: the Slingerland legs I added

Pic 3: Holes left by the Rogers leg mount and spur

Pic 4: Dowels filling holes

Pic 5: Dowels in inside of shell

Dam those were some nasty holes. I have a 60-63 BDP with late model legs. I cant decide if I wanna fix it or not. It will be interesting to see how yours turns out.
