Hi

I'm new to the selling thing. I have a few choice items I want to sell and use the money to buy the drums I need. I am honest and will ship fast. I have aa pay pal account but have to figure out how to invoice. My wife has an eBay account that she handed over to me. I recently changed the name to flamadiddles.

My name on this forum is radioking. No spaces,

Thanks

Rich

Just saw this, so I thought I'd post my info since I recently listed a drum kit for sale. I've bought and sold lots of drum stuff on ebay over the last few years, but have grown more and more weary of it lately, mostly because of the increased sellers' fees, but also because of horror stories I've heard about people being ripped off.

1. What you generally have for sale: Miscellaneous drums, drum parts, hardware, and sometimes complete kits

2. How fast you ship: 48 hours, but usually within 24 hours

3. The types of payment you take: Paypal only or cash for local pickup

4. Your eBay user ID (If Available) so we can check your feedback record: dren68

5. A Web Site URL (if you have one): N/A

Thanks for the advice. I think I'll try to sell some smaller items before I go for the drums especially since a got no bites the last time I tried to sell on ebay

This is a great idea!

1. What you generally have for sale.

- Anything that's not nailed down.

2. How fast you ship.

- Being realistic...within 5 days (which only happened once, and I can explain)...typically 2 days after payment clears.

3. The types of payment you take.

- Anything that spends.

4. Your eBay user ID (If Available) so we can check your feedback record.

- Bluej72682...I mostly buy on eBay. I don't typically sell much. Most of my transactions are made in person with cash to avoid potential issues but people I have dealt with in the past via internet have always been happy.

5. A Web Site URL (if you have one)

- Yeah...got nothin there.

I think putting your information out there really does pull the community together. Not like I have much to hide, so it's all good.

i'm drummerfish and i have bought some stuff thru this site but i mainly sell. i've been on this site (and other forums) for many years.

i used to work for the former ludwig artist rep, a indie drum company, been a drum tech, worked at a music store, etc...basically i've been in the biz a long time and i never had any problems with any of my buys, sells or trades. i've even sold in bulk to the owners of this forum.

here's my stats. keep it handy for future reference. i try to keep it updated when i get stuff. thanks.

----------------

1. What you generally have for sale:

new, used and vintage drum parts. i buy to resell so i never know what i'll get. i also sell out of print/promo media, music memorabilia, music swag and a few other things i come across. if i have multiples of something i can sell in bulk. i don't have a shop. i'm just a out of work guy selling stuff.

2. How fast you ship:

when i get the payment...i ship out asap unless i have a temp job or if the post office is closed. if your in so-cal and wanna pick up - great.

3. Your eBay user ID:

i don't sell on ebay anymore (i don't wanna pay all their fees) but thankfully i've built up a decent following were i sell thru my site and save the buyer and myself alot of money, bidding wars and fees. i still have great feedback.

4. A Web Site:

http://www.drummerfish.weebly.com

5. The types of payment you take:

i usually do u.s. postal money orders, bank cashier's checks (some banks call them bank money orders) in some cases i'll do a check if its over a certain amount and if the person has been a repeat buyer. but i try to avoid that.

I'm like a drum veterinaian. I only rescue the ones that come to me. I will post here first whenever I come across anything to help you guys bring the past back.

1. What you generally have for sale.

I occasionally flip Ludwig, Slingerland and UNIQUE percussion of many types.

I usually sell on eBay as Martygras2000, but would be happy to deal directly with any of you whom I develop a line of communication with.

2. How fast you ship.

Same as I would on eBay, within 1 or 2 days of $$$ receipt.

3. The types of payment you take.

Ideally I prefer to use the PayPal invoice scenario. It's quick and clean. I will accept money orders from forum members only.

4. Your eBay user ID (If Available) so we can check your feedback record.

martygras2000 is my eBay user id.

5. A Web Site URL (if you have one)

Nope. Just a drum guy.
