Beautiful early TROWA 50's

Loading...

Hello guys

Yesterday evening I suddenly found an interesting lot on German ebay - seller(he is our collegue aka 'hemelsoet') posted it as TROMSA set.

I saw that our collegue Phill ''Calfskin" commented in auction that is a nice condition TROWA kit.

My TROWA is completely identical, even straight 6 mm on 14" FT-legs :) (just next my following modification included more soft-shaped lugs with external centered swim-nuts and additional BD-lugs plates).

Our friend Phil is absolutely right (despite my deep respect for the European drum guru Mr. Fritz Stegner) - it's really TROWA "Sparkling Shampagne Y".

Enjoy the good pixs on ebay:

Hi Dule,

Y-yy-... I also have this pic. :)

It looks like a TROWA with some furniture is analogical as TROMSA (exept more later original TROWA tom-lugs) - Tom hoop is the same for early models both of brends, lower tom-hoop is simply lost by owner.

BD tension is semi-floating as TROMSA too (long T-rod and front claws with thread).

Also it seems to me that set was refinished by "Kupfer-Geschiefert KN" wrap (USA-version "Red Marble T").

George.
