Beautiful Amati kit

Some guy is selling this kit in Czech republic.

Full set, straight from the 1960s catalogue, just missing the cymbal arm and a few parts. My favourite Amati color, white sparkle (I don't think you actually see that color a lot from any brand, am I right?).

If I didn't already have three sets and enough orphans for a fourth, I'd buy these immediately.

I'll just put the pictures here so that it's preserved no matter what happens to it. Beautiful, complete kits like this one are getting more and more rare.

OMG if I wasn't over here in America I'd love to grab those. Heck I'd love to grab them anyway, but shipping costs...yea,lol

And am I nuts, or do I see a second Amati bass drum off in the corner? Gorgeous kit, really wish there were more afloat over here. Still need to grab the snare from Vintagedrumbug, has a blue sparkle snare that matches my lone 20" bass drum.

Suppose if I ever travel abroad I won't be going through typical gift shops, I'll be hunting down drums!

Yep, there seems to be a 70s or 80s BD there, too.

I think the shipping costs are bearable (it's the customs fees that kill me) for the smaller drums, but I've never tried anything bigger than a 14x12" tom.

That being said, if I ever see some BS Amatis here, should I let you know?

Please do. I'm looking for a 12" and maybe 14" FT. Mine has the badge as shown on this snare ( found the photo online ) But I don't need them to have the same badge.

Jay, I think that one you found online actualy belong to Gilnar If I am correct

Jan, actually would be impossible to use bass drum mount cymbal arm with two toms? But would be great to have it

I found pics of snare, similar by age to yours
