you can stop the cymbal ringing by replacing the plastic washer/cup with a rubber one, you can get the rubber tube from home depot or any hardware store

The bass pedal did arrive yesterday, and so far, no problems, no ringing or vibrations. The set-up feels good, and I have to say, it looks good to my eye.
