Does anyone know where I can get the chrome inlay's for bass drum hoops. I am restoring a 70's Slingerland kit and want to replace the inlays in the bass drum hoops. They were originally chrome / metal, and I can't find them anywhere. Thanks!

Do you need enough to do all of it? I might have a few small pieces if you need to repair. I try to save all of my removed inlay strips from my recovers. You never know when you'll need one. If you have to, I think you can still get plastic chrome from precision drum, But I understand wanting the replacement to be metal.

I was looking for enough to cover 2 24" diameter hoops. I am thinking now that I may just cover the inlays with the same color as the wrap I am doing (green sparkle) I painted refinished the hoops and they are nice and smooth with a new satin black finish. Thanks though, I appreciate the response.

Hi,
"Jammin Sam" will cut you Laminate Chrome Inlays.. I did my 24" 70's Hoops last year... Metal ones had turned to rust...
They look great and an easy job to do..

Funny, I talked to him today about that. I decided just to go with green sparkel inlays to match the wrap. Thanks for the info!
