Bass Drum Artwork

Loading...

Wondering if any forum members out there know of any artists who do artwork on bass drum heads?

If so, perhaps you could share some information.

I realize that there are a few companies that do this type of work but, with the sad state of our current economy, I'd be more interested in helping out a so-called "starving artist" who can get the job done.

Thanks!

I've got a few things in mind:

* Patriotic Themes (Uncle Sam / American Eagle, etc.);

* Vintage Artwork (Big Band Era / Top Hat & Cane / Jazz Clubs, etc.);

* Caribbean Island Scenery (Palm Trees; Sunsets, etc.);

* WWII Artwork (as seen on B52 Bombers); and/or

* Cartoon Characters

I'm open to anything that looks "unique."

I'm painting two Ludwig Beatles replica heads. I'll put some pictures up if they look good. Here are some pictures of the ones I'm doing.

You might also try tattoo studios....a lot of those artists work in mediums other than skin in their spare time.

Some printers are doing bass drum heads. There is a guy in my area that will take a picture and enlarge it on to a head. The quality is real good and the price is very reasonable.
